Penderyn Patagonia is a premium blended whisky crafted in collaboration with Al Alazana from Patagonia. As the 11th release in the Icon of Wales series, this special edition celebrates significant Welsh milestones, individuals, and events.

The story behind this whisky dates back to July 28th, 1865, when 153 pioneers embarked on the Mimosa, journeying to Patagonia to establish a Welsh colony and preserve their language and culture. Instead of the lush green valleys they expected, they encountered a harsh desert. Despite the challenges, the settlers dug irrigation trenches and traded with the indigenous Tehuelche people. Today, Patagonia is home to 50,000 Welsh descendants, 5,000 Welsh speakers, and hosts annual Eisteddfod festivals, embodying "Little Wales beyond Wales."

**Tasting Notes:**

 **Nose:** Sweet and floral with notes of green apples, sweet pears, vanilla, honey, and caramel.
 **Palate:** Well-balanced with flavours of sweet honey, apple tart, juicy pears, vanilla, light oak, spices like cinnamon, pepper, and a hint of cloves, complemented by almonds and creamy toffee.
 **Finish:** A lingering presence of dried fruits and sweet spices.
