From Henllan Bakery, this super-moist Bara Brith is a long-standing customer favourite.

Bara Brith takes its name from the Welsh language, “bara” meaning bread and “brith” meaning speckled, a nod to the dried fruit scattered throughout this traditional Welsh tea loaf. Thought to have originated when a Welsh baker enriched bread dough with fruit and warming spices, it remains a much-loved classic to this day.

Delivery information

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of being placed. During busy periods, dispatch may take up to 48 hours. Orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday via Royal Mail/ParcelForce or other courier.

You can choose your preferred delivery date in the cart (Tuesday–Friday only). We dispatch Monday to Thursday to ensure your hamper arrives in perfect condition. Orders placed Friday–Sunday will be processed on Monday.
