Introducing the 8th addition to the prestigious 'Icons of Wales' series, unveiled in December 2021, dedicated to the captivating Welsh concept of 'Hiraeth'. This whisky, featuring an ex-bourbon cask finish and bottled at 46% abv, marks a milestone as Penderyn's first core range single malt primarily sourced from our pot stills introduced in 2014.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Delicately floral with hints of light oak, vanilla, raisins, toffee apples, citrus peel, and a touch of lime.
Palate: A smooth and elegant single malt offering flavors of honeyed fruits, vanilla, cinnamon spice, and a whisper of nutmeg.
