Introducing the 10th edition in Penderyn's Icons Of Wales whiskies: YMA O HYD. Named after the patriotic anthem by Dafydd Iwan, beloved by the Red Wall (Welsh football supporters). This whisky is the official whisky for the Wales campaign at the World Cup 2022, produced in partnership with FA Wales.

This 70cl bottle boasts an ABV of 43% and is matured in American Rye Casks.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Fragrant and floral with hints of baking spices, toffee, caramel, and baked apples and pears.

Palate: Smooth and indulgent, offering notes of sweet caramel, sultanas, baked apples with cinnamon, accompanied by peppery oak spices and a touch of ginger and cloves.

Finish: Concludes with a lingering caramel sweetness, complemented by herbal undertones and a dash of peppery spices.
